With court lighting and pavilion painting completed, the soon to be landmark starts to take on a life of its own. Over 25,000 sf of playing surface is expected in the week to come, with over 2,000 feet of court fencing to follow. Once the bathroom, landscaping, and finishing touches are installed, both amateur and professional Pickleball players from across the nation will be lining up to come play Washington’s official state sport at the Blackburn Skagit Valley College Foundation Pickleball Pavilion.
