At TRICO, we believe in Building Beyond the Building—by training the next generation through our Internship Program, we’re not just investing in their future, but also in the future of our industry.
This year, we formalized our internship program and welcomed four stellar students. Each intern was paired with a mentor who developed comprehensive and rigorous training plans to support the demands of each Business Unit.
From estimating and project acquisition, updating logs, drafting submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes to project closeout, our interns performed important work to support our projects and showcased their growth with final presentations. Our mentors also gained invaluable experience in training, supervising, and conducting performance reviews, reinforcing our belief in the importance of Training Your Replacement.
