Sno Isle TECH Skills Center students visited Mount Vernon Fire Station 2 to learn about the various trades involved in an ongoing construction project. Superintendent Chris Green and Project Manager Savannah Phillips explained the active trade scopes on site, their interactions, and the complex scheduling process needed to coordinate them effectively.
Chris also introduced the students to the CITC (Construction Industry Training Council) program, explaining how it prepares them for careers in construction trades. He highlighted TRICO’s role in promoting the program and supporting educational initiatives that link training to employment in the industry.
